Jerry Seinfeld & Bill Gates featured in Microsoft's latest attempt in humor

The highly speculated Microsoft advertisement, which stars Jerry Seinfeld (for $10 mill) and Bill Gates has hit the airwaves tonight.

Microsoft has an extremely offbeat sense of humor. I thought this was going to be, "the one." I thought it was going to be the advertisement in which they finally got it right! Instead the humor is the farthest fetched and bland yet, in addition it doesn't actually speak to any of their products or offerings.

Am I the only one with this feeling or opinion? No, it's YouTube rating is 2 of 5 stars, and has some fired up comments to compliment the rating!

so i loved this ad! it's totally in line with what they need - a rebranding of windows!

it shows seinfeld finding gates trying on shoes (maybe MS products)? he's a life long member and Seinfeld (who could work as the "apple guy") helps him get into his shoes...even the outsiders say what he's doing is difficult, but in the end of all works out...

not only that, but something new is coming!!! and the $300M campaign is all about getting us there..

i am looking forward to the series of ads to see what the future holds.

What does their brand stand for in this ad?

I think you looking into it too much.

I am though looking forward to the other ads coming down the pipeline, I hope it all comes together...that'd be great!

Power to the Pacific Northwest companies!
